We’ve been taking our fur babies to Craig and Vicky for 8 years now and we wouldn’t dream of leaving them with anyone else! We have 5 cats and 2 kittens, and it was the kitten’s first time on holiday this past week. Seeing their pics on Instagram whilst we’re away reassures us even further that we don’t need to worry a bit. From our eldest who has diabetes and needs insulin twice a day to our timid little kittens, Craig and Vicky take care of all their needs and they come home happy, healthy and rested. Thank you also to Emma who replies to all my emails with speed and makes the booking process so easy! Five stars isn’t enough!

The Pets Country Manor helped us in our move to Liverpool when Willo had an extended holiday for about 6 weeks. That was just coming up to 6 years ago and she has been holidaying there ever since. Pets Country Manor is an outstanding cattery that provides a great range of options, clean, spacious and high-quality accommodation and excellent service from pick-up to return. We have used them several times and cannot recommend them highly enough. It makes such a huge difference to be able to rest secure in the knowledge that while we are away on holiday the cats (we have 4) are treated like royalty. Daily tapas treats are such a good idea, and best of all they post regularly on Facebook so you can see how your cats are doing. The cats are pampered and loved there, so there really is no other cattery we would use.

The best cattery in Liverpool. Bella has just returned from a 10 night stay here. The service is outstanding and the staff are truly amazing at what they do. The upgrades you can book are also a great idea and Bella enjoyed the afternoon tea during her stay there which she is still making her way through. Daily pictures are also shared so you can see your furbabies are well looked after. Bella has settled in well since being home and showing no signs of distress while being away. 100% recommend if you are looking for somewhere you can trust. This was Bella 3rd time here and will be back again soon, thank you so much Pets Country Manor.

Fabulous care, great calming location for furry guests to look out onto, personal and friendly owners and staff. Tippy-Tippy Paw-Paw loves his spa breaks at PCM and is always warmly welcomed, very well looked after, and super relaxed when picking him up. This has to be the best cattery out there and I highly recommend. The booking in process requirements and checks are thorough which gives me confidence that Tippy is safe. Book well in advance – they’re super popular so you’re lucky to get your fur baby checked in! Little extras like iPad games, cocktail on arrival (hydration drink), pamper hamper, treats and pics posted on social media are great optional extras too (when you’re feeling guilty with your own sangria on hols you can ping a request for your cat to have a little something too! ????)

What can I say, this place is fabulous! Craig and Vicky are both amazing and really took care of my 2 girls. I have been here a few times with them in the past but only for 5 days, this time it was double the time and I myself was anxious leaving them for so long. They were absolutely fine, they came home nice and relaxed. I had regular updates on FB with pictures of them both and I can’t thank Craig and Vicky enough for doing that, I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else as I know they get 5-star treatment and care here. I cannot recommend Pets Country Manor enough. After a few bad experiences elsewhere, I really feel like we have found a safe haven for our cats. The PCM family take such good care of Betty and Max! They always come home happy, healthy and sometimes a little chunky ???? which is the best sign the they feel relaxed and are well looked after during their stay. I wouldn’t trust them with anyone else.

i wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cattery, the room at the back of the pen is lovely and warm (even when it was -3 outside!) the wooden climbing frame with the four different heights is a great addition! and just the little extra caring touches has made all the difference to me. -having to prove flea treatment and inoculations gave me piece of mind that all the cats in the cattery are healthy (the lady who was infront of me wasnt able to leave her cats because her two cats hadnt had the injections, the amount of the booking was very high! and yet the two cats couldnt be accepted, which although the lady was upset about i was impressed that the health/wellbeing of her cats and the other cats in the cattery where put first over the money) and even wanting me to take of her collar of when i brought her in for her own safety incase the buckle got stuck on the mesh was something i hadnt thought about. this is a cattery that really cares and the owners clearly love cats

excellent friendly cattery, other catterys i have visited in the past have never asked to see any evidence that a de-flea product has been used and have been pretty easy going with not having to see evidence of injections. this cattery is very strict and enforce all the rules they have which is one of the reasons i really like them. i know my cats are going to be safe here and that the staff care about them, they take alot of pride in their cattery

we’d never used a cattery before so we visited 7 different ones to make sure we chose the right place. we immediately knew that this was the right place the pens are very light and spacious and have lots to keep the cats entertained. we initially wanted to do a trial run for 2 nights to see how they settled in before leaving them for 3 weeks however this was the first place who actually recommended against doing this unless we were going away and it was necessary, they explained that it can usually take cats (especially first time users of a cattery) around 4 or so days to settle in so it wasnt worth putting them in for such a short amount of time because they probably wouldnt settle in as well, so it wouldnt be worth putting them under unnecessary stress. as soon as we heard this we knew this was the right place and the right people to leave our cats with. the hours everyday you put into your cattery and the time you give our cats really shows and as cat parents we wanted to thank you for this, you make going away and leaving them that little bit easier

We have used this place twice now for our young cats. Both times they have come home happy and well looked after. The owners clearly care about cats don’t have a large staff so the your cat don’t have a large number of people to get used to. The rooms are great with two different areas, climbing centres and good views. We will be definitely using this place again in future when we go away.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating when I had to make a very last minute booking. I’ve never had to use a cattery before so I was extremely worried about dropping my cats off, but I hadn’t even walked through the door when a member of staff came out to greet me, assisted with carrying my cats into reception and from then on both members of staff put me at ease and were really caring towards my cats. I text a couple of days later to check if they had settled in well and received a text back almost straight away with a thorough report on how they were getting on (even referring to them by individual names!) and detailing little bits of each cats personality! So I knew this wasn’t just a generic response. I can’t tell you how relieved I was after that. I had to arrange for someone else to pick my cats up and this didn’t cause any issues whatsoever. I’m already arranging to book them in again in October. Thank you so much, Millie Kandy & Kole we’re very well looked after.

We would like to say a big thanks to Craig and Vicky for looking after our Jack. They answered every phone call and emails. It was good to hear how jack came out of his shell during his stay. Jack loves to talk but he was very chatty throughout his journey home today. He is very happy, relaxed and had lots of strokes, stretches and rolling round the grass. He is one happy, pampered cat ??

It is safe to say that my cat ‘Boots’ (13 years old) who stays two to three times a year – two at least 16 days long would not care if I did not come to pick him up he so loves it here. Due to being on medication twice a day I have no worries about the care he receives and the standards of the facilities which are second to none. A couple for who this is not just a business its a way of life – and even had time to take part in charity events to raise funds to support feral cats in and around Liverpool in the summer. I always check availability before I book the flights – no room / no holiday for us as he could not stay anywhere else.

picked my cat ginger up yesterday after he spent 16 days at this cattery over christmas. he’s come back really happy with his tail in the air and looks great. the staff were very friendly and answered all of my texts while i was away and he even came home with a little christmas goody bag with toys, treats and a stocking.

Great cattery with lovely clean rooms. Cats get an indoor heated room, and an outdoor space with multiple levels. Personal diets and grooming regimes are catered for, and they even do a pick up and drop off service. Our two boys are regular visitors here and we wouldn’t take them anywhere else! They care for your kitties as if they were their own. Bonus: They even added heat reflecting roof covers for the hot weather.

Donald had a two week holiday at the pets country manor, I was so upset and anxious about leaving him for that amount of time as he has never been away from home for that long and gets unsettled quite easily.. when we picked Donald up he was so calm and relaxed like he had never been away, he looked like he enjoyed his two week all inclusive maybe putting on a pound or two ?. I would certainly recommend the pets country manor, the staff are so friendly and have a genuine love for cats.

Our gorgeous cat Beau stayed for a week recently. He was only turning 1 the week we came back and hadn’t stayed anywhere before so we were quite apprehensive about leaving him (not to mention sad that we wouldn’t see him for a whole week!) but there was nothing to worry about. Apart from not liking the car journey home and being really cuddly every time he saw me for the next few days, he came home a contented and happy cat, going straight back to watching the mice in the shed wondering when he would be able to catch one! We’ve booked him in for our holiday next year already and I would recommend this cattery to anyone.

Tuppence has just come back from her first holiday at Pets Country Manor and she couldn’t look better. We’ve tried many other catteries before, fortunately, coming across PCM. I’m so glad we did. She was so much more relaxed and happier when we picked her up on Thursday than she ever has been on previous occasions from other catteries. She was the picture of health, beautiful shiny coat and the same chubby tummy she went in with. Its so nice to have found somewhere that looks after her so well so we can enjoy our time away without worrying about her. She’s already booked in for 2 more holidays later this year. Have used the Pet Country Manor a few times, I have been to others and not a patch on this. Would always use them ,they are genuine animal lovers and although a little bit more expensive it worth ever penny knowing that your little one is happy ,safe and on their own holiday. Also this time I was away for 3 weeks just seeing them on screen puts your mind at rest so you can also enjoy your time away too happy cats = people

Just this minute got Blaze home – he protested so much in the car on way home I think he wanted to stay! It was his first time in a cattery so I was a little worried but didn’t need to be! Just want to say a huge thank you for looking after Bella and Pudgey for the last 3 weeks. I was so nervous pitting them in a cattery as they are 10 and never been away from me for that long. Definately recommend to every cat lovers. As we are anxious cat owners, a warm welcome and a good introductory really helps us to settle our worries of putting our lovely girl Sabrina in a cattery. We had bad experience of using other cattery before, we can tell Sabrina is way more relax and settled when i picked her up from the cattery and took her home this time. She was very energetic, relax and happy. And we can tell everyone from pets country manor does pay good attention and take good care of all the lovely cats there in which gives us confidence to put our lovely girl there. My husband and i will definately use pets country manor again. And we also bought a lovely toy from there as well. Sabrina loves it very much. Overall, we had a very positive experience with pets country manor

My 3 cats Charlie , Pickle and Flossie all spent Christmas with Craig and Vicky . They were so well looked after . I have used other catteries but they dont compare . I had peace of mind knowing they were in a lovely safe place. The little Xmas present was a nice touch they are still playing with them??

Hi Craig and Vicki, Our furbaby Missy has been at home for a week now having stayed at the Cat Manor for just under two weeks.We were so anxious and worried about leaving Missy as she had been abandoned by her previous owners.We didn’t want her to feel like that……we didn’t have to worry, Missy has returned to us, very well cared for and has been a very relaxed cat,and the whole experience hasn’t fazed her at all. That’s down to the sheer care and dedication that the two of you put into looking after our baby.

Just like to say we really appreciate you looking after snowy for the last week. We have not had him long and were a little worried about leaving him.
There was absolutely nothing for us to worry about, the place you have and dedication you both put in, shows just how much care you give to all the animals you look after, therefore gives us the confidence he would be looked after they way we wanted. The daily updates of pics and videos on facebook, were great and probably let us enjoy our holiday even more. Definitely a 5 ? facility and we will be seeing you in the future. Many thanks and again appreciate what you did.

My 8 year old moggie had never been in a cattery before and due to health issues needed a special type of cattery which I found in The Pets Country Manor. I think I was more stressed than Boots when I dropped him off with tons of his ‘luggage’ duly labelled with instructions / requirements. I actually think he had a better holiday than me and did not seem that keen to leave when I came to collect him!  A very well deserved thank you to you both and appreciated the postcard and updates. Absolutely delighted with the care our 9 month old bunny Apple received! He was suffering with a lame leg and needed Metacam, but this wasn’t a problem for The Pets Country Manor! He was closely watched and we got regular updates.
The kennels are absolutely pristine, relaxing and quiet.
It was great to check on him while we were away with daily pictures, and a video on the Facebook page. We even came home from our holiday to a postcard from Apple

To say we were anxious to leave our 16 week old kitten Humbug for a week was an understatement, but Pets Country Manor totally put our minds at ease. The grounds are fantastic, clean and the staff are lovely and caring and understood our anxieties about leaving our kitten for the first time. 
We got to take Humbug to his own room, which came with a large climbing frame and separate ” en suite ” while we are away I got to see Humbug on Facebook and received a post card on our return from him 🙂 
Humbug enjoyed his stay, we enjoyed our break and will defo be using Pets County Manor in the future.

can’t recommend The Pets Country Manor high enough. My daughter wasn’t entirely sure about going on holiday and leaving her beloved cat until we found the UK’s number one cattery. From the fist enquiry you could tell the love for animals that this entrepreneurial couple have. With daily photos and a couple of videos my daughter had a lovely holiday safe in the knowledge her cat was safe and sound and enjoying his holiday. On collection it was clear he had been spoilt looking well groomed and bright eyed.

Booking was really simple and straightforward and communication was fantastic. They were next to lovely tilly and im sure they had a ball. Dear Vicky and John As my granny and grandad, who are presently looking after me don’t have Facebook, I am having to send you an email but I hope you will put it on your reviews. Thank you for looking after me so well for the last five days. I have had a wonderful holiday and thought the Cattery Hotel was well worth the five star rating. I could not have been better looked after if they had booked me in the Savoy. The VIC suite was everything which a cat could want, very pampered I was too with all the fuss and the bed, well that was really something. I liked the view from my window so that I could watch the birds. The food was Master Chef standard, so well prepared and presented just to my liking. My mum who is at present on holiday in New Zealand was even able to see me on the web cam and I can’t wait to show her the card which I sent her when she gets back, a fine photograph of me it was too! The en suite facilities were second to none and I will certainly make sure that my feline friends tell their owners that there is only one place to go on holiday – yes its the Bowring Park Luxury Cattery. My wife and I have used John and Vicky’s Cattery service for some time now. We always try and choose a VIC suite for Suki because she loves to look out of a window during the day. Leaving your cat in the hands of someone else can be nerve racking, it certainly made us feel anxious before we met John. I cannot say enough about this Cattery. John and Vicky will pick Suki up and drop her off. They will play with Suki and fuss over her. They will take pictures and videos and upload them onto Facebook and most of all make sure she is warm, safe and have plenty of food and drink. This Cattery comes with our highest recommendation. Best of all is knowing we do not have to worry about our babies as we are confident they are being the best of care. John and vicky give all their ‘residents’ personal attention –they don’t just put your pets in cages and feed them, they actually play with them, pet them and ensure your babies are comfortable. never before have i seen such care and kindness been given to animals by the two owners of bowring park small animal hotel. not only were they able to fit my two bunnies in last minute, but they were also value for money and offered extra s…ervices that you would just not find else where such as pamper sessions and a free pick up service which just took the stress out of going on holiday. my rabbits returned to me today being dropped off at the exact time promised, and let me just say, they have never looked so good! they were in immaculate condition and smelt beautiful after their pamper session and were completely groomed to perfection. i would highly recconmend you only chose this wonderful business to look after your animals. i would never use any one else again( believe me i have used other people before, i got the impression they wernt ever let out of their cage the full week i was away.) with bowring park you have peace of mind, and when you are missing your babies, you can just log on and find up to date photographs and videos to assure you of their well maintained conditions and the fun they are having and the care and attention they are being shown. the final touch was returning from holiday, to find a postcard with a beautiful picture of the two of them posted through my door. touches like this put this business on another level from other animal carers. this is not just a business, you can tell this is their way of life, and that the owners genuinely love every animal that has been put under their care. many thanks again to both. Fantastic place, great service. John and Vicky work so hard and put up with all our paranoias about our bunnies, nothing is too much trouble . Love following their (the buns) holiday on Facebook, I hate leaving them behind but they are well cared for, loved and enjoy their holiday too. The new outdoor rabbit play pens are brilliant. Would recommend to anyone scared about leaving their pets behind – you can tell it is not just a business, they care about their fluffy clients too! x Thank you John and Vicky

thanks for looking after milli & sox last week,it was their first time at bowring park & when we seen the photos & videos of them on facebook they looked very much at home, also the postcard was a nice touch & the collection & delivery service is great it’s reassuring to know they are in good hands when we are away,fantastic service.

Fantastic service! Can’t fault John and Vicky, would reccommend to anyone. Liked the pics and videos on FB, a very nice touch especially for a 4 year old who was missing her bunnies. The postcard was lovely as well. Just got 2 very happy, contented bunnies back, think they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did 🙂 Thank you!

Put our buns in for 2 weeks. Think they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. Excellent service, very profesional and friendly. Loved the regular photos and videos, and postcard we recieved was a really nice touch. They have arrived back looking happy and healthy (not even their usual stamping when they got back). I will definately be using them again.

hi we have a rescue cat called cracker and he was left for the very first time last year we chose bowring park through a friends recomendation, what a first class choice it was! we had no hesitation in booking again this year. and have just returned from our holiday, our little boy is back safe and sound. to those people who may think sites may doctor reviews Please believe me this is genuine, our cat is very very special to our family but we can go on holiday knowing he is in very safe and Loving arms, john and vicky we can never thank you enough x x x

They both look brilliant and have obviously had a lovely time.Being able to watch them on Facebook made a huge difference and I really looked forward to catching up with them when I could get a connection. Just wanted to say thank you for looking after Amber, Gizmo and Mr B while we were all away. Amber and Gizmo seem to have really enjoyed their holiday as they have settled straight back into life at home. We all enjoyed being able to see the cats during our holiday and it made it so much easier knowing they were all being looked after and cared for. We would recommend you to anyone and will certainly be using you again when we next go away. Thank you again xx

Thank you so much for looking after Trilby. We’ve only had him a few months so I was worried about leaving him for the first time, but I could tell how happy he was from the photos and videos on here. They really were a great comfort, being able to see for myself that he was doing ok. The drop off service was also excellent, it was great knowing that when we got home we didn’t need to worry abo…ut driving out to pick him up, we could just get ourselves sorted while we waited for him to come home. And I really appreciated the postcode from him when we got home, it’s now got pride of place on the fridge. It’s little touches like that that make all the difference. We’ll definitely be coming back to you when we next go away!

Thank you to John and Vicky for taking such great care of Oliver and Ruby. We always have supreme confidence in Bowring Park Luxury Cattery and know that our cats are enjoying excellent care. John was even able to return Oliver and Ruby at a moment’s notice when we returned home early. Fantastic service.

just got our girls Bill and Ted back today from their second trip to your cattery and just wanted to say how fabulous this place is. They were picked up and dropped back off on time which was a great help to us. I will deffo use you again as our cats always come home content and very soft so thanks for grooming them! Rio is 12 and this was his first visit to a cattery, so obviously we were concerned as we also were worried he would be stressed. After visiting John and Vicky at their cattery we knew this was the best place for him to have a 2 week holiday also. Back home yesterday- John brought him home to us, after a very brief settling in period he was back to normal, and did not “hate us” ha ha for putting h…im into a cattery as an older cat !! John and Vicky have given him the care, love, hugs and attention that we have always given Rio since we got him at 12 weeks old, so his holiday with them was just like a stay with extended family. The fact we could see photos and video of Rio whilst on hols was also a reassuring aspect of the excellent care he recieved. A final extra lovely touch was the postcard photo from Rio that was waiting for us when we arrived home yesterday morning, even before we got Rio back- this was superb ! So a big thanks to John and Vicky- we highly recommend anyone to use this cattery/small animal hotel, as like us they absolutely love animals and we will definately use you ongoing now- love Joyce & Geoff Forrest xxSee more

If you have any doubts at all about leaving your pet with someone, this is the place to do it. John and Vicky have built a genuinely warm, friendly, caring and most importantly safe enviroment for all the pets left in their care. Each one is as important as the next, which is reassuring for any owner. Our Bunnies were returned to us happy, calm and content. We enjoyed checking in, here on facebook for regular updates on them, which is a genius idea and Melissa loved the postcard she received in the post. Infact she carries it everywhere with her. Thanks again to you both for the excellent care you took of Amber and Lexi, we will definately be booking in again next year.

It was great to see regular photo updates of him, and even videos, while we were away. This was the first time we had left our rabbit Jasmine and cat Oscar with anyone before while we went on holiday.John was very re-assuring that they would be okay and they were.We could check in on Facebook while we were in Spain and it was lovely to see videos and photos of them.They both looked relaxed and happy.It was lovely to see Jasmine out in the sunshine and she was very safe in her run.Os…car can be a bit of a minx but he looked as though he had settled in fine.It was a nice thought also to send us a postcard with photos of them for when we got back home!The suites that the cats are in are spotless, nice and clean and spacious.We would definitely bring them back next time we go away.Thanks very much John and Vicky for taking care of our pets.See more

Thanks to John and Vicky for looking after Charlie and Pickle so well…They were truly professional and lovely people..I was a bit wary about leaving the cats as this was there first time away but I needn’t have worried. John picked them up at the arranged time and brought them back again when he said he would. Pictures were posted on facebook and they even put a little video of them so I could see they were ok. And to top it off they even got a little cats easter egg when they were brought home!!!! I will definitely take them back again in the future knowing they are safe and well looked after . A first class experience for me and the cats xx

I can’t thank you enough for taking such great care of Rafeal! This cattery is unbelievable, its immaculatly clean, large spacious pens full of toys, and John and Vicky have a true passion for animals. When Rafeal came home i could see he had been well cared for and had had lots of cuddles and attention he had also had a really good groom. Receiving the photo postcard was also such a lovely touch and this facebook page is a great idea i didnt need to worry about him at all as i could see he was having a great time! Thank you for the xmas card and thanks again! i can now start going on holidays again!!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Kitkat loved her holiday and we even got a postcard from her! Vicky and John are very friendly and obviously have a love of animals. The accomodation is truly five star and the pictures of Kitkat on facebook on her four poster bed really helped put our minds at rest that she was having a lovely time which in turn made us able to enjoy our holiday! i had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment to view this cattery and i couldnt be more pleased that i went ahead and waited. Once i’d read their terms and conditions and they had explained to me about the restrictions from the council i understood why i had to have an appointment and needed to wait for the next one. My cat is 17 years old and has been to many different catteries in merseyside but …this is by far the best by a long way. The pens are really spacious and are immaculate and when harry came home he was so relaxed it was like he’d never been away- usually he sulks! I phoned john everyday and he completely put my mind at rest and i liked it that they had no staff so i knew it would just be john and his wife looking after him. they come highly recommendedSee more

Above and beyond, this is the first time we have left Kitty and woudn’t hesitate to do so again, we even arrived home from holiday to a photograph postcard of kitty letting us know she was having great fun, and excellent that u can check on facebook to see how they are doing while u are away from home, thank you John and Vicky xx

Excellent cattery, this is the first time I have used a cattery and I will be recommending The Bowring Park to everyone. I was very impressed by how spacious and clean the accommodation was, how friendly and helpful Jon and his wife were and how settled and happy all the cats in their care were. They were obviously cat lovers and I really liked the fact that only two people would be caring for the cats rather than a large number of staff as my cats are nervous around new people. I really can’t thank them enough for the level of service they provided. My cats shall be regular visitors
